So I just got back in from a Christmas Party ... it was actually a lot of fun. A few friends of mine from school hosted it and set it up that we all had to get dressed up (I'll post some pics sometime soon ... I was decked out in a nice suit). One thing annoyed me ... and still kind of does. At dinner, the conversation eventually turned to homosexuality. One of the guys in our class started to say it made him sick when he once saw two guys kiss. He said he didn't hate homosexuals ... he tolerated them. Toleration?? It made me feel that he viewed homosexuals as a nuisance that were ok as long as he didn't have to deal with them. I was just waiting for him to say he thought he was better than them. It's people like that that annoy the shit out of me. No one person is greater than another. Am I greater than a kid my age living on the street? No ... I may have gotten breaks that he or she didn't get ... but I am of no more importance that he/she. Man ... he and his intolerance really has annoyed the crap outta me ... maybe sleep will make me feel better.
