And 8 pounds isn't that big, my family regularly pushes out 10 pounders. (And up.) It makes your sister cry to think about it.

I can only imagaine how taking pictures of kids would be . at one point I had 4 dogs and tried to get them in a group picture, it never worked

i use Photoshop to get the file size down... there is a save for web option.... lemme think and see what else i can come up with.....

and good luck with the job searching.... its a pain, but its got to be done, blah

Open it up in Photoimpression, then shrink it to 25% in the edit section, then save it as a jpeg, thats the way I do all of mine, of course you might need to use a different percent since I think you're scanning yours. But 25% works for pics of a digital camera.
