Love and Religion
3 days left and she's here... so excited, but as with everything there is a down side, a task i've put off for too long thats needs to be done. I don't like hurting people, not emotionaly.
Start my new job next monday, hope it all goes to plan. in six months I should be living in Italy.
I'd say pray for me, but there are more worthy people in need of it and I don't beleive in organised religion anyway. I had to go to church this week for the baptism of my nephew, I loathed every second I was in there, all that ritualised singing and amens and crap, it's the 21st century for fucks sake, can't the large organised religions get with it, is it anywonder that they can't attract the young when they still insist on singing the same fucking dirges over and over. Am I the only one that can see that few people under 40 are going to sign hymns? at least not the old ones, the church needs to invent some new hymns and styles of worship more in keeping with the times if it to survive, even those happy clappy rock churches are better than the traditional miserable church. I hate religion anyway, it's just a fucking crutch for those pathetic individuals that can't cope with daily life without some sort of moral support. Here is the reality, you're born, you die, you rot in the ground. Once you accept tht life is much simpler, take a look at any battlefield if you don't beleive it.
