I've been collecting vinyl like a fiend of late. And just acquiring a whole shit-ton of music. For the record, The Gaslight Anthem's sophomore effort, The '59 Sound, is the best record of the year. Just accept this. It's totally awesome. It's funny how obsessed with them I've become, having only heard of them in December, at the Hometown Throwdown. I've seen them 3 times since then.
I'm in the process of packing all the shit I own and moving about half a mile away. The landlords and renovating the whole house, so we get the boot. We're scattering to the four corners, if those corners were located solely in the Cambridge/Somerville area (mostly in the Porter/Davis vicinity). We'll still get together for Project Runway, I trust. And I get to get a CAT!
Uh, what else. I dunno. Work is good. Punk rock is great. Ska is awesome. That about sums up my life of late. I got a new car because my old one had this unfortunate habit of starting up only 50% of the time. This new one does it 100% of the time! It's incredible. I'm not used to it, but I think I could get to like it.
