I have spent a fair amount of my day and even more of my evening wresting with this damn Debian box, trying to set up the Linux file server for my apartment. Will it be worth it, in the end? I cannot say for sure. But I'll be proud of myself, albeit in an exceedingly nerdy way.
I would go on and on about it, but it would bore the few of you who read this to tears. Suffice it to say, I have edited conf files more tonight than I hope to ever again in life.
In other news, Depeche Mode's remastered reissue of Songs of Faith and Devotion is coming out soon. I'm excited, as it is my favorite DM album. I've been listening to it all day.

I'm writing a comparison of beauty as portrayed by Petrarch's Italian love sonnets and Michelangelo's ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, and how the forms that they each chose affected how the beauty is portrayed and interpreted. *snooze*
That being said, I've already written 942 words, and I haven't done an introduction or conclusion yet, so it wouldn't be as difficult if someone wanted to come along and finish it. But it'd probably be better for me in the long run to finish it myself and pass off some of that archaeology busy work I've got due soon. CRAP, that's all it is.
