I am back from Florida. Disney World was fun.

Tired. Sleep now. More later?

See Mutual Appreciation immediately. It's playing at the Brattle in Harvard Sq. all week. YOU HAVE NO EXCUSE. DO IT.
paisley:
But.....but......but..........................

yes sir.
paisley:
I did it. I saw it. It was definitely worth the effort to get there. Plus, Cambridge on a Saturday night is jsut a fun sight to see.

Attention.

Xmortis (http://www.xmortis.com) tonight at TT the Bear's in Central Sq., Cambridge. 18+, $10; $5 before 10:30.

I will be there. Everyone on this site in the area should be too. Sid was there last time, and will probably make a return.
Is that an incentive? Only you can decide. And prevent forest fires.

In other news, support the Brattle Theater in Harvard Sq. and...

So I might be at the Brattle tonight, but last night I did not go because I was instead offered a chance to watch "Stick It" while knitting with some friends, and let me tell you, if you have not seen that fine piece of gymnastics-centered teen fluff, you have not lived. (It was awful.)
paisley:
I went to the 5:00, thinking I would get back in time to do all my schoolwork, which I did not end up doing, despite having time, because I am lazy.

Well, I've moved. As of last Thursday, I am now living further into Somerville, up by Davis Sq. I must say, this new place is AWESOME. Two floors, 4 bedrooms, a dining room, a living room, TWO porches, big kitchen, walking distance to Davis T station... it's hot. I need people to visit more. We'd have more parties, but we live above the landlords, which...

Ooh, Little Miss Sunshine was excellent. I was so happy Steve Carrell had a deep character for once.
Congrats on the new place, it sounds pretty sweet.

My bike was GLORIOUS; my bike lock was a big pain. I've never had a U-lock to deal with before, so that was a new world of annoyance. Plus I didn't have a good bag for biking, so it kept swinging around in front of me. But I bought a backpack and got used to the lock, so all is good. Well, not all, but when I eventually got to sleep, it helped, so at least some is good.

Don't worry, I hate vegans. Seriously, never met one I liked.

As for tomorrow, Gothy-goth, eh? Maybe I'll do that after the movie. I do enjoy me some crazy fashions and dark attitudes.

Re: Patrons, I'm looking for someone who'll give me money to look fabulous but not come on to me. I know, I don't think it'll happen either.

Dude! Snakes on a motherfucking Plane! It was far more awesome than you could believe. Get a shit ton of people together and see it in a large crowd of people who are into it, and you'll have a fucking BLAST. DO IT NOW.
paisley:
My thoughts exactly.
Imagine seeing it with the staff of a summer camp on the last night, after all the campers have left. We were overjoyed by the all cursing alone.

P.S. Hi, I'm Paisley, you seem cool.
paisley:
People have already started to bring fake snakes to the movie. It's only a matter of time until the witty callbacks begin.

I was looking for food around the AMC Fenway, which I think makes it more absurd that I couldn't find any, because it's a movie theatre on a Saturday night. Where's a better place for late night dining? Apparently everywhere else. Stupid puritans. But thanks for the recommendations. I hope to be hopping over the river a bit more this semester than I have, since I have a bike now. I'm excited. biggrin

The few of you who read this should, being over 21, come to Boston, and come dance at Toast on Satruday sometime. It's a damn good time. And where I will be tonight. Huzzah!

In other news, I am now employed by MIT. Score. We use nothing but Macs. Score^2.

Hoo-ah!

I'm quite enjoying Boston! This week I'll have gone out dancing 3 times (Mon, Wed, Sat). It's a rough life, believe you me, but SOMEONE's gotta do it!
Of course, I need a job. Someone give me one plzkthx

I also keep seeing Sid around the city, usually with a posse. It amuses me. It's like a little brush with celebrity, though I think...

I took in a showing of A Scanner Darkly last night, and godDAMN was it cool. Just the visual style of the movie is worth the admission (I didn't see Waking Life, but I just feel the style is more suited to a film like this). As for the story, it was Philip K. Dick, which is usually pretty solid. I actually thought Keanu...

So I live in Somerville now. And on Wednesday, at Crypt, I saw a SuicideGirl. THIS CITY LIFE IS AMAZING.
philosophocles:
haha. which girl? City life sounds intriguing but I can't see myself ever living in a city.
Then again, i can't picture myself having any kind of a normal life anyway.
mcflynnthm:
It was Sid. My friend Jeff (treasurerats) and I commented that she looked about 15 in person.

For a long, long time I couldn't see myself living in a city. Of course, I grew up in a town of just under 5,000. Then... I dunno. Eventually I decided that it would be kinda cool. Developing a love of Boston helped. I really like this place.

Whoa. They changed the SG site. I'm not sure how I feel about it. It doesn't seem any easier to navigate than the old layout, and the addition of Flash to the front page irks me, because now I cannot open the links in a new tab. Damn you, SG.

Hrm. I can't seem to stay logged in. I believe either my cookies are screwed up or someone else is logging in as me. Yes I am paranoid.

EDIT: There. Changed passwords. That should fix 'em.

Good to hear. Though I must say, I'm a fan of the album work. Though, hell, I'm just a fan of PSB all over; albums, b-sides, mixes, whatever. More PSB == more good.

I'll definitely check that mis out, thanks!

thanks a lot for your comment on my debut set kiss
