Back by popular demand.......

Today was, or I should say is since it is still going on, great. Went to my old place of work and saw some of my good friends, one of whom told me that Mastodon was playing a free show at Criminal Records this afternoon to celebrate the release of their new CD. As well as the free music, there was also fre PBR for all. I enjoyed a couple....

Then I got a new cymbal as well. 18" thin crash which adds a nice tone to the set. I'm itchin' to play now, which I will be doing in a few minutes.

And yeah, that's today for me. And we got the holiday weekend as well. I believe it it weren't for the impending rain that this might be a great fuckin' weekend. It's still gonna be, but you know....

Even though I'm an Atlanta boy, for some reason I still prefer Pepsi over Coca-Cola. Don't know why. Maybe it's the couple of times that I've lived in NC - yeah that's it.

Tip of the day: Listen to anything that has Tara Jane O'Neil on it. Can't go wrong their. Also, Throwing Muses' last album (self-titled) is officially my favorite of theirs.
