So I think I'm done with everything until finals. And I only gots two of those. Two of my classes are finished now. Damn it feels good.
So I saw some people outside the Georgia-Pacific building today protesting the fact that GP was hiring contractors that do not meet area labor standards, including providing or fully paying for healthcare and pension for its employees. I would have stayed and fought the corporate machine had I not had a test. But I took a flyer - and didn't throw it away this time.
For your geographical edification the GP building is the really tall, stepped, clay-colored one in our downtown skyline. The wind always blows really hard by it even if it's not windy elsewhere. Weird...
So yeah. Think I'll go to Spain/Barcelona while I'm over there. One bonus is that Wilco is playing a show there that week and it'd be really good to see them again. It's also cheaper to get to Spain than it is to Italy.
