So I was reading today about the mystery surounding Elliott Smith's death. I didn't pay a whole lot of attention to it when it first happened, as it is quite common for good musicians to die under dubious circumstances, a la Kurt Cobain, Lane Staley, etc... Plus I remember it just being reported as another suicide. Apparently though, there is cause to believe that it was murder. You can read about it here if you're interested:

On to more pleasant thoughts. Promise to have my travel pics up by Sunday night. I also got this offer today for a new phone absolutely free. Which is especially nice since I don't like my current phone. It just runs out of batteries to quickly. And I don't even use it that much. What the fuck man?!
