So I get an e-mail from a friend of mine today, and I must say I am disturbed. For they want to ban gay marriage in the state of Georgia, as well as the rest of the nation, as you may know. Why? I'm straight, but can see nothing wrong with two people of the same sex getting married. My premise is that people should be able to do what makes them happy, within the boundaries of the law, as long as they are not bringing harm upon anyone else. So let 'em marry for fuck's sake.

GW speaks of marriage as being a "sacred union", one that can only be achieved between a man and a woman (or as Pat Buchanan said the other day, between man and women). Yet when our favorite pop star Britany Spears decides to do something wild and crazy, just for the hell of it, like say, getting married on a whim, no one has a problem with that. She even got it anulled 48 hours later, because they were unsure of there actions, and it was as easy as that. How "sacred" is that, when a girl who used go on about how virtuous she is can make a mockery out of marriage, and receive absolutely no flack whatsoever, yet when two people of the same sex, who love each other and want to be married to prove their devotion to each other, are demonized and seen as immoral?

Any thoughts or opinions on this? I'd be glad to hear what you folks think.

Oh yeah, album of the day = Drive Like Jehu, Yank Crime

Also, I took a Myers-Briggs personality test today as well. Those things are pretty fun. My type is ENFJ, or "the teacher" as it is called. Apparently, this group makes up only 2.5% of our population. I totally dig that, cause it means there's not too many people like yours truly out there. Let's put that in perspective though (280,000,000 * .025 = 7,000,000). Okay, so there's 6,999,999 people out there like me. Dammit. Also, there are some fun personality tests at QueenDom. You can find out if you're a good date, or whether or not you're a hostile person. Good stuff, this personality analyzing business.

He would think I put you up to it! You are so right about the blow job thing. It's only fair for both partners to enjoy themselves before you get down to the one-sided business. Plus, I think blow jobs are highly intimate and they require a lot more skill than having sex. Ideally when you give someone a blowjob you're really comfortable with them and it's something you both get off on.

Enough about blowjobs. I'm writing way too much.blush

I'm all for gay marriage, especially as far as the rights of parents are concerned. Gay parents that aren't biological parents have a hard time maintaining their parental rights once relationships are dissolved, so that would be a significant gain if gay marriage was legalized. They deserve to have families, too.smile Can you tell I'm way bored in Texas?

I'm in agreement on the gay marriage tip. A couple of friends of mine are in a longterm relationship. I hope someday the bible beaters and conservatives figure out people should be able to choose these things for themselves.

Yank Crime is great.
