My cat is a killer

Im afraid to let the cat out of the bag
or rather
out of the house.

Dont look at me as if I have a secret to share with you.

The truth is this.
I have many secrets.
This one I will share.

I let my cat out.
She came back with a mouse.
I let her out again.
She returned with a mole.
I continued to let her out.
She began to bring in birds.

Hanging from her teeth.
Clenched in her mouth and her eyes were red.
She is a predator.
And I allow her to kill.
Killing pests like rats and moles seems beneficial.

But stop killing the birds!

They are so beautiful.
