i was going to go to Boardners tonight to check out a band with my friend Beth. But the band bailed. they were pissed at how they were treated so they loaded out just after loading in. lame, this town treats rock bands like shit.
so I got tacos, a coke, and a movie. i feel like i could use some down time to re-energize. emotionally worn out.
working on some mixes for live backing tracks tonight as well. after a computer fiasco last month I lost files and have to re-mix 8 songs. frustrating, very frustrating. have to redo something so creative and intense can drive a person mad.
the good news today is that i got an email from a possible synth player for the band. the bass player we are checking out did not call me however, when she was supposed to.
