i haven't had much time to myself lately...nick's band has been playing a lot of shows and recording recently, so i'm sleeping on a lot of couches and hauling a lot of equipment on my weekends. during the week i desperately try to cram every name for every body part ever into my brain (forebrain, hindbrain, corpus callosum, pons, red nuclei...) for my classes during the week. the good news is, i get to take a children's literature course this winter, which is something i've been wanting to do forever. excitment is building!
halloweeeeeeeeen! i'm really psyched and a little nervous about halloween this year. since Katrina down south, my family and i have been getting weird visions on a regular basis. i wouldn't be suprised if something happened around halloween or dia de los muertos, and i'm not sure if i'm prepared. but then again, who is? i just want some candy.
