Even though it was shitty outside at work today - rainy and cold - Syd Barrett kept me in a chipper mood. Even though some might have considered his musical output as gloomy, just due to hearing about the man's life story, his music seems to be upbeat with dreamlike lyrics. I listened to some Syd Barrett at work on my iPod as well as a lot of other artists. Foo Fighters' "Gimme Stitches" got stuck in my head a lot today - they should play that one live sometime! I seemed to listen to more upbeat songs today than the downbeat ones - so most of the Porcupine Tree and Radiohead songs got skipped when they came up on shuffle (I love those bands a lot though). Other than those random musical observations - Tires got photographed and Receipts were made. Plus, I like this site pretty well so far.
