Been a long day and only a third of the back yard is raked. I found at least six muscles that haven't had a work-out in a long time and found a way to exhaust the dog in the process. Throw every large stick away from you. He'll chase it and, strangely enough, will drop it off in the leaf pile furthest from you. It ends up working out for me and him. I have to bend down to pick up most of the branches anyway and he gets to play ... in his fashion. One of these days I'll teach him the other half of fetch.

The house is coming together nicely. Since the Greg-o-matic is busy working on Randy's web site there hasn't been much interruption in the cleaning process. The only thing that bugs is when the hubby comes home the mess process starts all over again. It's difficult to keep up and make progress when you go from cleaning for two to three.

I'll be honest here. I wasn't made to be a house wife. I know that, he knows it, the world would figure it out if it would pay attention. The problem is, that's just where I am right now. I look for jobs and keep house in the mean time. The side affect is that I'm about ready to burn the house down. I hate this place. It's going from the title Home to Prison. I won't burn it, I won't burn it. mad

What the hell is so market-like about the availability of jobs anyway? You don't get to go to your local trusted grocer and check it out thoroughly before buying into it. You can't squeeze it, examine it for insects and ask about it's nutritional value. The only thing I see that's market-y about it is the fact that they seem to have seasons ... and this is the ever-lovin' off season. mad
