yeah i hear ya. We've all worked at "those" kind of shops. Just do the best you can. As for the bill being passed. That's been in talks for about 5 years. I do know that the health dept is extremely cracking down on shops out here. Also in the state of Arizona they're also doing it. Too many cases of Hep C have broke out the past couple of years & now FINALLY the health dept is getting involved.
There are 2 TV shows that will becoming out with in the next 6 months that will be on the tattoo industry. One is going to be called Tattoo Nation. They will be teaching the public about sanitation & sterilization in tattoo shops, which artist are good, etc... They will alos have a piercing topic on the show too. So hopefully it will enlighten the general public awareness of who is a good reputable shop & who the hackers are.

i was talking to my ex boss a while ago and he made the point that if every time a company won't hire you based on hair colour, piercings, or visible tattoos, you should vow never give them any of your money again.
