thinking a lot about personal statement for grad school. i know i stand out, but not sure how to show it without divulging personal information that would knock me out of the candidate pool. looking at nine or ten programs, all in florida. did faculty searches for ucf and um tonight and um's looking mighty good. 100% of their grad students accepted in the past four years have gotten full tuition remissions and massive stipends. marry me, um. still need to look into fsu, usf, nova, unf. maybe barry, fiu, and uf. seven more months of this.
money situation still sucks. i'll make it, but it might take a while. i want to go home to see my mom. maybe in august between summer/fall semesters. they're expecting me in june, just like they were expecting me in march and early may. ugh.
