i've spent the past hour or so looking at master's and doctoral programs in florida and i'm feeling a little discouraged. the only schools worth considering are ucf, fsu, nova, unf, and possibly fiu, but their website is currently being a raging cunt. i want to stay in my little etsu bubble.
i made a shit ton of money tonight. more than anyone else on my side and likely more than anyone else in the restaurant. my tips were exceptional on both sides of the spectrum: exceptionally shitty and exceptionally amazing. two examples: $4 on an $80 bill and $65 on a bill that was no more than $70-80.
the latter wasn't necessarily a tip as much as a donation. there were these four women that came in who work at the kingsport animal shelter and i asked them for advice on the best way to find the puppies homes when they come. they preached for a good fifteen minutes about how we needed to get luxie a doggie abortion as soon as possible while i whined and told me that this area is notorious for difficult placement and that dogs are expendable here and that since luxie is half black lab, she'll probably have a ton of puppies and that it would just be better to not think about it and get her spayed. so they gave me $50 to do so.
jesus. i'm so morally against it that it's really tough for me to even think about it. i don't know what to do. my dog is gorgeous, i don't think we'd have trouble getting rid of her babies.
either way, i made $155 in a matter of six hours. i walked with $135.

I went to FIU for a couple semesters before dropping out. It's a good school if you want to get into business, maybe a couple other fields, but really not worth it otherwise. Though I'm sure if you grew up here you know that already
