well, we shot the set and i sent it in early this afternoon. i'm a little upset about my lighting because i feel like it just wasn't enough. thing is, i read a shit ton of stuff on sg hopefuls about lighting and i thought i had it covered. i had 600w of reveal lighting pointed straight at me from different angles in clip lamps and i had 400w of supplemental reveal lighting from above, so i'm not sure why or how it turned out so dark. if this set gets rejected, i'm buying a pair of those heavy duty worklights and playing it that way.
i skipped two of my classes this afternoon on purpose because i stayed up so late with the set. i needed a little bit of sleep since i have to get up disgustingly early tomorrow morning to get fillings. i'm not happy. needles and i DO NOT get along, not by any means.
i didn't realize that this photoset would put my house into such a state of disrepair, so while the wife's at work, i have every intention of making things look normal again. good luck to me. i mean, the house was a mess anyway because we've both been fairly slack on upkeep, but now it looks like a fucking tornado's been through the bitch.
i had my first meeting today with the coordinator of the cutting/alexithymia study. it looks like i'm the only undergrad really interested, so i may have publication opportunities. that will help my grad school application immensely.
i have one hell of a headache and i doubt staring at the screen is helping, so i'm going to stop doing it now.

I'm sure the set will turn out great, regardless. What matters is what's in front of the camera!
