1. my mom's not in the hospital anymore. i do know that it's not cancer, which is what i was worried about. i don't know was it was--they let her go without a diagnosis. six days in the hospital and no diagnosis = weird, yes? she goes back to the doctor on april 4th. might know more then.
2. STILL unpacking shit, and we've lived in the new apartment for two to three weeks now. SO lazy. i think i'm mostly just not looking forward to packing it all again for the BIG move this summer.

4. currently reading poppy z. brite's the crow: the lazarus heart. it's one of her few horror novels that i haven't read. can't say it's any kind of masterpiece, but it DOES have my attention. next on the list: some coupland, some eugenides.
