Well, so much for de-foosing my sleep. Static-X was fucking amazing last night, but I was wired until about 5 in the morning when I finally went to sleep. It's now 3 something and I just rolled out of bed, and only due to the fact that I recieved the third telemarketer call of the morning that woke me up, again.
I'm sure this is pretty much a universal experience, but.. you know when you have a dream where you're cuddling or spending time with your "crush" or just in general enjoying some kind of experience you long for when you're awake? Then you wake up and realize it was a dream, and you have that sense of loss? I woke up feeling like that a couple of times today, but with no apparent cause.
I find myself tempted to just go back to sleep as I don't really feel like being awake yet, but I will resist. Although it would allow me to de-foose, I have far too much to do. Teriyaki chicken may be just enough motivation to get me off my ass..we'll see.
In conclusion: if you find yourself presented with the chance to see Static-X live, take it! They absolutely own live, it was insane, and wonderfully so.
