Hope everybody made it through the holiday, I survived lol

So this week is Spring break for my son, so tomorrow and maybe the rest of the week we are going fishing! looks like it may rain a little bit hopefully not too bad, we are both very excited to get outside and enjoy the time together, fishing is one thing that brings me and my son closer together, he is entering the phase of "dad isn't cool anymore" makes me sad but I went through it, and I know he still loves me and loves living here. he went with his mom on Friday for the weekend and cried and cried because he didn't want to go, breaks my heart, he has to see her though, I am glad thought that he is beginning to see through all of her lies and promises to him, I can't and won't say anything negative towards him about his mom, I am just so glad that he came to live with me, it's been 3 years ago today that I was awarded custody of him, I cant wait to get out fishing with him and make some more fun memories, some of the best memories of my dad are when we fished, I hope I can do the same and be as good of a father as my dad was to me
