I'm running out the door soon to go into NYC for my drug test, and I think they're giving me the psychological test right after that. Then I guess I just sit tight for their phone call to set up the final interview with one of the owners.
I've had to take these psychological tests before--not too worried about that. I'd just like to get...

The interview went really well--I was interviewed by the same person for an hour and a half! Then he had me sign the release form to do the credit check and scheduled me for a drug test. Once the results come back I then have to take a psychological test, then meet with one of the owners.

I have my interview this morning! I made a list of about 50 questions to ask them!
I'm confident I'll ace the interview, but I am nervous as hell. Also nervous that I won't get out of the interview in time to run back to B'klyn for my doctor's appointment.
Wish me luck!

Saw Jill Sobule at Joe's Pub last night and she was awesome. She performed without her band, and did two numbers with her mom who was in from Denver--it was a blast.
I got to speak to her after the show, she signed a poster for me, and I bought two of her CDs that I didn't have: UNDERDOG VICTORIOUS and THE FOLK YEARS.

Keep fingers and toes crossed--I have a big job interview on Monday morning! This is the perfect place for me! And I could end up making more than in my job in LA! I don't want to jinx it, so no details right now.
Another employee at my job gave notice today. That's two in less than a week!

So I woke up this morning feeling like crap. Yesterday I had a sore throat, and today, I could not stop running to the john. I wanted to call in sick, but I had to be in at 8:30 for a manager's meeting. So I race to work and get there 20 minutes late, and the gate is still down. I see the Assistant Manager...

The Magic lecture was awesome.
Guess I'm going to watch the pay per view event of From the Big Apple to the Big Easy as the live event is sold out.
But I did snag a ticket to see Jill Sobule at Joe's Pub this Friday night! Can't wait. I'm going straight from work.

Might try and go to the Broadway on Broadway event today, if I get through taking my mom for her art supplies in time.
I'm definitely going to the lecture on Al Flosso given by Todd Robbins in Coney Island today.
Also have to do the schedules for the entire month of October.
Then I have to iron shirts--and it's EMMY night!

its a long story about the name change and the lonliness. Lets just say it has to do with some people finding out things about me that they shouldn't have.

Pinup pics! Okay, so there's only one right now, but there's more on the way.
Looks like the concert is sold out. I may have to stay home and watch in on pay per view--which sucks.
I can't imagine anyone would be heartless enough to scalp a benefit concert ticket, and I would not want to give them the satisfaction of making a profit on it, and I don't see any other options.
Unless anyone has any connections at Madison...

People are always looking for ways to screw others over. *sigh*
Now what do I do? There are TWO concerts the same night to benefit Katrina victims. http://www.fromthebigappletothebigeasy.com/
If I go see the one with Tom Waits I miss Jimmy Buffett, Elvis Costello, John Fogerty, Elton John, Diana Krall, Lenny Kravitz, Cyndi Lauper, Dave Matthews, Bette Midler, Simon & Garfunkel and about 14 other acts!
Still trying to see if my boss can switch my days...

LOL That was cute.
My photographer was worried about me being topless in a fairly well populated part of downtown. He relaxed a bit when I told him I was naked in front of the Performing Arts Center a couple weeks earlier.
