The concert was awesome. I caught a drumstick from Brian, and it has his lipstick on it! Way cool.
I was up for 21 hours straight and on my feet for most of that time, so I had to bail at 1am, so I missed the last 30 minutes. But they played an extra hour, so I feel like I got more than a full show.
In the bummer dept...I really cute girl turns to me at the concert and said to me: "Are you someone's dad? Because I think that's very cool!"
I know she meant that it was cool that I would give up my New Year's eve to take a child to see their favorite band, and I know I'm certainly old enough to have had a child--but it still made me feel very old. And worse, it made me feel unattractive.
