The fun and games continue.
Last night, the cold kicked my ass, and after having dinner with the gang at work, I told them I was going to skip the Haunted House that we were all going to go to, and headed straight home. I wanted to go to bed, but mom wanted company watching at least one TV show, so I watched from the couch and ended up falling asleep. When I woke I was groggy, and left my cell phone on the side table next to the couch. I went to bed and woke up at noon.
When I went downstairs to get the phone--it was gone. Of course mom swears she did not touch it, but as you know, her memory is shot. So I even checked the fridge, freezer and garbage to no avail.
Yes, I have insurance, with a $50 dollar deductable (OUCH!) and they send you the phone ASAP, but there are phone numbers in the phone that I do not have hard copies of. I'm screwed as far as that goes.
Spent the day running errends, and now I'm doing laundry.
Tomorrow I have to be in at 8am to help clean and set up the store. I'd really like to strangle the idiot co-worker who got me sick.

Bummer about the phone, I know how that feels - I recently had to pay 70 (yes 70 English pounds) to get a new phone despite my insurance!
