Opened my e-mail and got one of those wonderful notices from my bank alerting me that my account ballance is super low. I'm gabling that nothing cashes against it until I get paid tomorrow. I didn't make commission this month, which sucks, cause my salary is a fraction of what I make.
So knowing that I'm super short this month, what do I do? I make a reservation to go to a supper club that features a burlesque show that was supposed to have Veronica Varlow in it. And now suddenly her name is absent from the lineup tomorrow night. Oh, did I mention that there was a price fixe dinner at $40 bucks in addition to the $20 cover? And if I don't show, I'm out the twenty bucks. And if I do show, I end up paying $60 for performers I can see for $10 and no cover at other venues. The only reason I was going was to see VV.
Did I also mention that I have to bring in another fifty grand with less than a week to go in order to make my goal and win a 26" plasma flat Screen TV? Yeah, that's how slow the month is--so slow that if you make your goal--if everyone makes their goal--everyone gets a TV! Sheesh!
