Well, I bought the tux, shoes, shirt, real bow tie (not clip-on), cumberbund, and suspenders. And I just bought a stud set. Pic below:
All in all about $850 for everything listed above. And no, I really can't afford to drop $850 on this stuff at this time. But this was the cheapest way I could do it. The Calvin Klein tux (Men's Warehouse version) was $419. The rest was on the accessories. I just couldn't see spending money on a rental and getting nothing for it after returning it. This way I can also use the tux for my magic act when I have a gig that calls for a formal look.
Trying to get a haircut today for the event as well. It's nice of my boss to invite me, but it also incurrs an expense at the same time.
Running out for lunch and other errends in the pouring rain.
