Ugh! Woke up late to discover my tub has backed up and now I can't take a show until the plumber comes. So much grunge has backed upn that Draino just won't cut it.
You have to understand--I am a clean freak and germophobe. I HATE not showering. Even when I am sick and can't leave the house I shower. This is torture to me. And I have to leave the house for errends. Thank God I didn't have to go to work today--I would have freaked.
I have tomorrow off too.
Might go to catch Jill Sobule at Joe's pub tonight, if I'm not too worn out from the events of the day.

hope your situation improves quickly.
When we first got the house and started work on it, the shower at the new place was just plain disgusting. We planned to clean the bathroom last since everyone kept dumping buckets of mop water in the tub and cleaning rags in the sink. It was no big deal since we still had our old place to shower in. Then someone packed/moved everything from the old bathroom (shower curtain, soap, shampoo...) and we couldn't find it for several days at the new place. I'm much more appreciative of a shower now.
