So yesterday was my one year anniversary at work. I realized I am in the same position as I was then. Broke and in the same amount of debt. It's amazing. I make a good living, but the cost of living is just insane. They gave me a choice of gifts to choose from for my one year anniversary, and I chose a five piece luggage set. My luggage needs to be donated to good will, so I'm really looking forward to getting this new set.
It's been crazy busy--I've been working 8 days straight, which is why I have not been updating.
Tomorrow is my mom's 81st birthday. I'll take her to lunch a show on Broadway and to dinner.
