Took mom to see King Kong on Christmas day. Also took her out for lunch, and then called in for dinner. I gave her a purple Lalique heart pendant for her holiday present. She loved it.
It was dead at work yesterday. I'm exhausted from the holiday rush, and could use a week off. I don't get a day off till Thursday. And then I have a Dr. app't. and tons of errends planned.
I need a real vacation--thinking about Mardi Gras in Nawlins, but cash is tight, and I'd have to take the days off without pay, so I'll have to think about this one.
And on a good note, I'm losing weight!
