OK, I just got litterally $120 worth of phone and electricity bills today, so that clinches it for me, the combo of 3 final exams and having lots of money owing means it's just to irresposible for me to head off bowling and drinking (much as I'd love to meet everyone)

Yay, you skate! I can't but I wish I could. I attempted it a few times but I ended up in hostpital with a poorly ankle ...gave up after that. And you play bass, me too, I'm shit at that aswell but at least I cant hurt myself doing it.

Ouch! That sounds painfull! Thankfully I've never hurt myself playing bass, although now you've mentioned that I know its gona happen to me one day...

I don't think I'll give skating another go, it hurts too much! I can sit and watch people skate for hours, they make it look sooo easy, grrr! I used to sit and watch my ex and after a while I'd be like 'yeah I can do that, It can't be that hard' ...always ended up on my ass tho!
