This shot was taken by Krabuki/Xilia Faye at the Portland Hotel I stayed at called HOTEL LUCIAN, I highly recommend it. they were really nice and it was very contempory/swanky. I have a special liking for Boutique Hotels in general, they are smaller, less expensive, and really nicely designed, well until they get too popular and everyone catches on. then the price raises like the Ian shrager hotels mostly in NY , Miami and LA. this time it was $139 a night. can't beat that unless your sleeping on a friends couch for free.

so I am finally getting a vacation, its a short one but one none the less. I booked a trip for Ant and I as also a B-day gift to him as well. it was either that or an Apple Store Gift certificate. so we are going to Chicago! he just came back while I was away on a biz trip and raved about it. so I have never been. its not tropical but there is a beach, and at least the food is guaranteed to be good, as where I always sacrifice the scene and beach someplace topical for mediocre buffet food.
also I will be staying at a kimpton hotel, there are 3 in Chicago all boutique hotels. and I got some advice yesterday from sabawa on my camera on self shoots, so yes I will be attempting my first digital color self portrait shoot but not for submission for SG, in this Hot ass hotel.

So live aid is coming here July 2nd, and I want to get as far away as possible, the last thing I want to be around is a massive crowd taking over this shitty city. I think I will try to head to NJ for the day and wait it out.

Why are the sloppiest looking people in my office the most annoying, Fuck I hate that, don't wear sweat pants if your over 165lbs and learn how to use a fucking DHL site for Christ sake, want me to wipe your sloppy ass too !
