IT'S SETTLED!
my B/W pink shot called exceptions by the awesome Chip Willis.
I will be flying out to Chip in Columbus Ohio in late January for another shoot. I will push my boundaries again and work like I'm 21 because he is worth it.
So i have gotten some good feedback from people here and close to me on the head shaving thing.
THe reason i can't do it in stages is because when i pull out my hair it's from the root not the middle or the ends, which means my patches are to the scalp or all lengths, i would have to Buzz it and if there are still patches that are uneven Wet Shave it too.
i posted it on my Facebook and my boss said i should not because people might think i am as crazy as Britney Spears. I disagree, People whom know me, know that i am a very stable and in control person.
I think it intimidates some people to know others can just take a leap and do something fearless.
Not sure why it makes them uncomfortable it's not their head after all.
Also my boss doesn't know about my OCD, i think if she knew the back story she would prob have diff perspective.
my mom called me today and asked if i was still going to do it, and i said i think so. she changed her mind, and said it was a good idea, and say's she supports me.
a few co workers said that if anyone could rock a bald head it would be me. that makes me feel very supportive too.
I also have a friend whom wants to document it for me, the photographer whom shot me in the abandoned houses this fall, Of course it will be documented, hell i may even cry a little.lol
I have been successfully growing my hair since i was 30, 2000. it's been a rough daily battle and I'm ready to start fresh.
now all i need to plan is when. My shoot is on Jan 21st, i need to ask Chip if he is cool with this look for the shoot, if he is then i will do it this weekend.
this has been an amazing year for me.
Went to
Amsterdam,
St Martin
Cape Cod
Jamaica
shot some amazing work with some very talented people.
Got my drivers license
got all my health up to date and in check.
I can't really complain.
tonight i celebrate with another couple over a home cooked dinner in Delaware.
