I failed my 1st Drivers Road Test yesterday.
Of Course I was a bit nervous,
I thought to myself this little test is the only thing standing between me and my complete independence.
All because the instructor said that " You Drive good, but you did not stop for a complete 3 seconds at the stop sign".
Why is it that all Workers of DMV's Dress like an episode of BARNEY the 1970's cop show. Like they are all 20 years behind in fashion, I know they get out and see TV and a bunch of other media that shows more updated styles, and why do they all chain smoke? Our car smelled like an Ashtray when he got out.
Now the next avail Appointment is on Friday the 13th, Of June, Just Perfect!

But then I moved to Madison and bussed and biked everywhere for the next five years, so I didn't even think about it. I finally got my license in California after driving Humvees in the Army for two and a half years. After learning how to handle one of those monsters (and driving it off-road in Korea), driving a little sedan around Orange county was a breeze!
You'll get it next time - I always consider Friday the 13th to be a lucky day. I figure if everyone else is having bad luck, it has to balance out somewhere - why shouldn't it balance by you having good luck?

I almost didn't pass my test because there was a car that was blocking another on-coming truck that I didn't see while I was turning.
