i went to bed last night around 10.30. i was sooo tired.

at 10 past midnight: "ring-ring, ring-ring" it's the phone. "what wanker is calling me at this hour on a school night?"

cue manic laughing from the other end of the phone followed by:

RAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH. it's the only way i can describe a GSXR750K4 with a full race Yoshimura system sounds like. My god it sounded good.

when i left the workshop around 7pm my mechanic said he'd just tidy up before going home. he decided to crack on and get it running for the 1st time in 5 months.

Working as late as possible with the team tonight. Chinese, The Clash on the sound system amd the smell of exaust fumes. all we need are some SG's there and this would be my kind "Shangri-la". not a bad way to spend a friday night.

Tomorrow it's on the dyno. find out if all that tuning was worth the money.

Tuesday is test day at Donington Park. and it's snowing outside my window. i hope it warms up.

Thanks to everyone who called about my heart rate. the doc said it's viral, an aftermath of having fku. should be fine in a week or so. just gotta take it easy for a few weeks.
