Um, yeah. You know that asshole that holds the plane up from leaving on time because he's late? I was that asshole yesterday. How was i supposed to know that over 2 hours before a 9am flight wasn't enough???? Fuck...the only reason i made the flight on time was customs took pity on me and actually drove me to my gate.

So i'm in Taipei and i must say, the nice parts are fucking beautiful and the shitty parts are fucking shitty here. I just booked a new hotel today because, while taking a shower last night i saw my breath...because there was no hot water Taipei is easy to get around in and i'm conveniantly located

So the building i was trying to show in my old journal was this one:


It's Taipei 101 and i must say after having seen it in person, it's freaking impressive! 509 Metres tall--that's 1600+ feet for us Americans It's very cool inside though i haven't been to the observation points yet...just the mall part where they have every upscale outlet i've ever heard of...and many that i haven't. Gucci, prada, Louis Vuitton, Dolce and Gabanna, and some other upscale retail outlets that Pittsburgh will never see. I was impressed...and my wallet had an anuerysm.

The people here are really nice and i suppose it's time for me to go out and meet more of them so i'll talk to you all later and i hope your day is going swimmingly.

PS...i can't wait to see what this place will be like, come Chinese New Years in a few days. Year of the Cock...erm Rooster, here we go!
