So yesterday i walked and ran about 14 miled--nearly 5 running and the rest walking. It took approximately 5 and a quarter hours to do including an hour laying out on the beach. Today i travel 2500+ miles cross country by plane in a little over 4 hours. Modern travel is awesome.
Somehow i managed to get sunburned slightly on only one shoulder. I guess i missed that area.
Well my time in California draws short so i guess i'll write a few lessons learned.
--Wearing a Ramones shirt in a crowd of peepz who may or may not be SG acts as a magnet. They'll find you sooner or later.
--The Pacific Coast Highway is a must for anybody that has access to a car and California. It's an absolutely stunning drive.
--It's good to have family in really cool places.
--Drinking a wee bit too much in Tijuana can sometimes lead to things you'll regret later.
--Nude beaches are awesome! That is if you don't mind seeing a bunch of older, heavier naked people that you don't really want to see naked.
--SG Kickball is teh most awesomest!!11Oneone
--Meeting/seeing awesome people you'll probably never see again is pretty damn bittersweet. Yeah, it's cool you met them, but it's uncool that it's probably the first, last and only time.
But, as some famous dood said: "Better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all."
So to all i met on this trip, i salute you and wish you the best till next we meet...whenever that may be. And to all my peepz back home, i can't wait to see yinz again.
