Running three miles in the pouring rain isn't as bad as you'd think. It's probably wetter than you think, but it's not really that bad.
Ahhhhhh....finally a day off tomorrow!!!! No work which means no retail customers!!! Although somebody did me the compliment of saying i made her the best drink she's ever had! Made me feel good and today at work wasn't so bad either. Yay me.
Siara asked me why i don't just quit my job right now if i'm so displeased with it...well i got two answers. The first is that i was ranting after having worked a very lonnnnnng week. The second is that they give me benefits and after seeing the bill an uninsured man who had a broken arm and facial lacerations come to $46,000 it really sank in that i get paid a LOT more than i thought i did.
The XBox is awesome!!! It's like having an arcade in my own house. It's really amazing when i think back on the developement of gaming systems in the world. I can remember when Pitfall was the coolest game ever (basically it was a stick figure jumping over other stick figure aligators). I can remmber when Pole Position was the greatest racing game ever (it had aweosjme square tires and was fun.) I remember the first Atari, the Intellivision system, and when the ground-braking Nintendo arrived. Now, we're lightyears awy from those early dinosaurs and i have a feeling we've only scratched the surface and i don't know if that's cool or scary.
