Nothing all that new going on. I've realize that i'm gonna have to make my own happiness in life and stop waiting around for "something good to happen". As much as i say that though, it's still hard to rise above the mental hangups and what not that one's psyche has given them over the years. I'm better than i used to be but not where i want to be.
So this weekend i went up to school for the first time as an alumni and it wasn't all that different from my time as a student. Hung out at my fraternity, drank till i threw up and passed out on the couch. Ahhhh...it's good to know something things never change...or at least don't change all that much.
Mus figure out how to ask out opposite girl. Nothing ventured nothing gained...and nothing lost either but i just have to figure out the right words. I'm gonna do it, but just not sure how.
Been reading a bit of Oscar Wilde and he's pretty sweet but i'tll take me forever to get through his work--i'm used to reading fantasy novels, not novels that i'm supposed to learn something from or appreciate for ti's greatness. The one thing i find interesting is the forward in the compendium is written by his son and it just completely glosses over the whole homosexual trial and imprisonmane portion of Wilde's life. Not that i can blame the man (nothing against gays, but considring the time, who would have wanted to admit their dad shagged other dudes?)
Have a new favorite band of the moment--Deja Entendu (very soulful, rocking, melodious awesomeness.
Well i'm outtie peepz. Talk to yous laters.

I don't really think homosexuality was even a bigger deal then. Remember sodomy laws just being repealed? Yeah. I think these issues ebb and flow, as well as all other "moral" issues.
