So, Kate Date was great! We went to Olive Garden and then afterwards went out for some desert at an ice cream parlor. No kisses or anything, but a warm embrace followed by me lifting her up off the ground (that's my thing 'cause i'm so tall and b/c girls seem to really dig it.) All in all a good time...now i just have to navigate the relationship so to speak. I'm not used to taking it slow as most of my relationships have been....well short would be a polite way of puting it. I am however definately looking forward to developing a relationship and we found out lots about each other tonight.

However, insecurities like having a shitty car and merely a so-so job are kinda getting to me and making me want to actually strive for betterness in my life (both to make myself happy and to be more on an equal term with Kate who will be a lawyer at the end of next month, barring anything unfortunate or unforeseen.) While insecurities are bad, this making me want to be better thing is definately good. Can't say i'm "Just taking some time off after graduating" forever now can i?

In other news, just 6 days until i leave for San Diego!!! Should be a blast and i can't wait to see my brother.

Also, hooked up my old computer tonight (boy is it a piece of shit) but found a bunch of really old emails on it. Ahhhh...the trips we take down memory lane. And boy did it bring back some memories and some interesting perspectives on things. The person i was then and the person i am now....hmmm...how different are we and how similar i wonder? Also realized that i'd been cyber friends with this one girl i know for nearly five years now! That's a long time to be friends for never having met each other and only have talked on the phone once. Not to mention i barely know what she looks like.

Also ran into somebody from highschool i haven't seen in a while...freshman when i was graduating...boy did he kinda make me feel old and i'm only 22 (well...23 next month) Time flies and i really need to start getting on with a life of my own which probably won't happen until at least August (earliest i think i'll be able to move out of the 'rents house.)

Well this has gotten too long already and i've taken up enough of you good people's time so i'll end this now with a quote from a Jedi Master: "Do. Or do not: There is no try" Guess i gotta do.
