I don't have any interwebs at my house until the 28th but if you're friends with jaybo then you've probably been keeping up a little.

We bought the house, we've moved of sorts. We're still replacing the floors, painting, refinishing the cabinets, tiling the bathroom floor, installing a dishwasher into a kitchen without one, adding backsplash, updating fixtures etc. it's going to take at least a few more weekends. Luckily jays stepfather had been helping endlessly but I'm looking forward to just living in the house instead if working on it.

Were staying home this Christmas instead of going 1.5 hours away to see jays family. I think we will gave hit cocoa, see a movie then were having friendsmas dinner with our friends/old roommates. I see some cards against humanity holiday edition in our future.

It should be nice.

Ever hear a song that just sends you into tears while driving down the freeway looking like a fool?
Stars by Grace Potter and the Nocturnals did that to me today. It usually happens this way around the holidays that eventually something reminds me how much I miss my father and how often I try to not acknowledge it. I think that all of the great things that have happened this year (marriage, buying a house) has made me feel the absence of my dad. He should have been here for all if it. He should still be alive.

Don't murder people, k folks? It's bad for everyone.
