We've actually been planning it and I knew when he purchased my engagement ring.. but it would take a month to get it because it had to be made and shipped.
Last night Jay surprised me with a promise ring or place holder as were calling it and asked me to marry him. It was nice to be able to be surprised and have an 'official' wedding proposal and a ring to wear while I wait for the real deal to arrive.
Needless to say I'm very happy and excited and we've already planned most of the wedding... but i'll tell you more about that another time.
