turns out one of the guys working at the game store practically next door to my store was a friend of mine when i was little who i haven't seen since i was in like third grade. he says he doesn't remember me but apparently believes me and has been wicked nice and friendly since i noticed (only through the name on his frequent buyer card at the store). but yeah...that's pretty cool.
i gots me some Knife (some The Knife???) stuck in my head. oh they are AWESOME live BTW. i just wish i wasn't so exhausted, hot and sober by the time they came onstage. it was a short show but we all agreed that we couldn't have taken any more by that point, plus they had to have a light/projection show for each song so it's not like they could have done any more songs anyway. i just gots me Deep Cuts in like 30 seconds. sweet. i love you, internet.

mm, yummy green apple Smirnoff. i recommend it, if you don't look down on fruit-flavored vodkas (and why would you anyway, it's cheapish and it's still hard alcohol). it is the first vodka i've had i think. i will probably need more alcohol soon. i'm not quite halfway through the bottle (after a couple of weeks of random nights of bedtime drinking) BUT my grandmother is coming tomorrow, for a week. my only living grandparent at this point, and she's the one with all the money and control over my big fat trust fund. and she hates that i'm in retail. yeah, i'm gonna need more alcohol.
anyone got recommendations for stuff that's pretty cheap and not too hard to swill straight from the bottle? and not rum...though i love my Captain's, i don't like the way that rum makes me feel really lonely. so far it's the only alcohol that does that. maybe i'll just try another flavor of vodka.
can you tell i don't drink much? it's cuz my boyfriend gets bummed when i get drunk without him but he's not 21 and doesn't really drink anyway.
that reminds me, if my store wins the contest our chain is having, i'm saving my share (which could possibly be up to $1000 after we ebay the PS3 included in the prize winnings) to go back to New York for the boyfriend's 21st birthday next spring. maybe we'll even wait a month or two until i get my tax return and have even more. then we can stay in a nice hotel and shit. but shhh. don't tell him. i don't even know if we won yet or not, though things are looking good.
i don't think i'm drunk enough (look, i can still type fine and everything) but i don't want to be all hunged over in the morning. that would be no fun.
i wish i had a radio in here, i could call in to my coworker's show and stuff.
