aww, apparently i bummed people out with the entry about my dogster. she's doing better now, but she still hasn't been to the vet. she can wag ok and doesn't seem to be in much pain, but then again she's one of those dogs that you can trip over in the middle of the night and she won't move (i've done it). she's a total bonehead. she's still walking a little stiffly but isn't whimpering when she sits, etc. i'm thinking what she did was grab her tail when she was chasing it (she still does that even though she's almost 5) and probably fell over or something. it's really a wonder she hasn't hurt herself before now. her tail still looks a little weird at the top, so i think she should go to the vet, but right now we are just waiting to see what happens, i guess.

so the dog's ok. but my best friend has malaria. yeah, for serious. she's in some hospital in Ethiopia. at least she has internet access there - i haven't talked to her but i sent her an email. i really hope she's ok.

i am just a bundle of catastrophic news. well...at least my store wno a promotional contest so we all get to split $400 (and i'll get a pretty big chunk since i work so much). if anyone tells you that you should check out Rocco Deluca, though (EVEN IF THEY'RE KIEFER SUTHERLAND), don't listen. just say no to mediocre whiny slide-guitar music. unless your company is kissing Kiefer's ass by promoting Rocco's cd, and there is money involved.
