aloha...
so, i'm feeling better...thanks for everyone's well wishes. it was the strangest sickness i ever had. it just kind of snuck up on me and the slapped me in the throat. thank god it's gone.

so, yesterday i decided that it was time to do some laundry. i loaded up the washer (not too full), threw in my soap, and started it.
then i went and layed down.
i walked in the room about fifteen minutes later, and the floor was soaked about five feet surrounding it. the tile floor that it was sitting on was under about and inch of water.
so i walk downstairs and the entryway is also under about an inch of water. it soaked through the floor and emptied out on the tile downstairs.
so that's what i dealt with all day yesterday. a carpet guy had to come and power vacumn the carpet, and then leave a blower (industiral sized fan) to dry out the padding. there are water spots on the ceiling downstairs, but the apartment people said that they will just paint over it
fine with me, i don't want to pay for it, i just feel bad for the the next tennants that get this shithole.

other than that...things are going well.
i am rereading the harry potter series in preparation for the new book and movie. following that i have to read my narnia collection, and i picked up a book about ed gein.
