Watched "Dark Days" today. Great doco! I'll admit what attracted me to it straight up was the fact that DJ Shadow did the score. I've always been a big admirer of his work and his stuff is just so visual. To me it was just aching to be used on a soundtrack. The doco is just amazing on every level. What adds to it more is the filmmaker's journey in making it. Hard work and sacrifice to create something inspiring and memorable. And the fact that the director had never even picked up a camera before and shooting on film. If you haven't already seen it you have to check it out!
