Perhaps if I flew to Sydney (which is HELL cheaper than a flight to Canberra), I could join you on your roadtrip to Canberra? I'm working on Mardi Gras this year - crowd control (no, I'm not a butch security guard! I'm in charge of keeping the crowd happy and chirpy in the 4 hour wait before the parade starts - hell fun but hell tiring) so I'll be down in Sydney that weekend. Also on the hunt for a fun afterparty to go to after the parade as the main one wasn't brilliant last year so my best friend (a Sydney-sider) and I are looking for something different. Do you want to meet up at some stage that weekend? I like putting faces and vibes and people to names...
