quite an exciting day off. bought an old table (chrome sides, green top, kinda 60s) for myself, and had to carry it from the little vintage shop to my home. three trips for four chairs, the leaf and the table itself. recruited my pal beta to help. she brought ian, my god son, along.

we played crazy eights on it when we got back. i made lemonade.

doc is working a temp job at the seattle federal building. i'm off to the grocery store soon to buy some stuff for dinner. hope to surprise her with dinner on the table! the table! the brand spankin' new surprise table!
