a weeks paid vacation is sitting there waiting. what should i do with it?
here's an update:
doc is here, and we're going to watch casino royale. she's roasting a chicken, and the apartment smells like rosemary and thyme. she just walked up to me with a bit of chicken in her hand, offered it to me.
it's peppery, and salty, and spicy. there are potatoes, champagne. bourbon. a doc to snuggle with. tomorrow is a day off.

Thanks for the Gould recommendation. In return, have you tried Stewart O'Nan? He has written a bunch of stuff about Vietnam, however I like his short stories much better.
