so, i've been told it's a cap, not a hat. cap.

so, i have this new cap that i took from "someone".

strange night. sold books at a seminar. a self-help guru seminar. but, a tiny teaser before the two day intensive course, the one that costs.

my favorite little detail: the people had strategically placed full boxes of tissues beneath chairs. and some people managed to need them, though it was but a brief two hour dive into their pain.

sort of standard zen stuff, i thought. give up your anger at things you can't control. you have no vote on reality. the best thing about the past is that it's over.

i have a conspiracy theory. they brought in dozens of bouquets of flowers. i think a percentage of the sniffling and watery eyes belonged to the allergic. the more profound tears came easier seeing others getting "emotional".

and here's a tease just for freckle: a local celebrity was there. a local public radio figure, known for humor and a skeptical nature. i watched the celebrity, and saw some very strange things. i think i saw the skeptic, the radio wit fall into the line being peddled. i think a local celebrity known for a light heart, and a joke in every pocket may be hiding something; some pain.

it's midnight. i just bought a cheap bottle of champagne at a 7-11. i had to fight the urge to tell the counter person i had an emergency ship to christen.
